LegendLand Big Bang Challenge - "In the Wayward Pine" (G)
Title: In the Wayward Pine

Prompt: Singing
Word Count: 607

Author's Notes: This one's inspired by hearing Brigid sing in the show actually. *grin* I also had this image of Kahlan and Dennee just being regular girls for a moment in my head so I wondered what that might mean for Confessors.

Oh, and the song Kahlan sings is just one I wrote for her. Here it is by itself

LegendLand Big Bang Challenge - "Paint Your Dreams" (G)
Title: Paint Your Dreams
Rating: G

Theme: Mother Confessors
Genre: General/Drama
Characters: Kahlan Amnell and her Mother (Mother's POV)
Timeline/Spoilers: Kahlan's five; essentially spoilers for "Bound"

Prompt: Nightmares
Word Count: 791

Author's Notes: Okay, so this one... I kind of did a weird ol' mix of book and series. From the book, I took that Kahlan's mum was the Mother Confessor. I also used the name Brophy for her stuffed animal, and I mention the Mud People. From the series, I use the fact that Kahlan's mum dies when she's five and that Fredrick is her father. This story basically takes place right at the time that Kahlan's mother is getting sick.

It does take place in the world of the series though. *grin*

If only in my dreams... )

Title: [livejournal.com profile] legendland Big-Bang Challenge
Genre: Legend of the Seeker
Theme: Mother Confessors
Rating: G through NC-17 (Each story is rated in it's own entry)
Timeline/Spoilers: From 3000 years before the series "begins" to after the series ends (each entry is marked accordingly) ~The period of time Confessors have been around. *grin*
Spoilers: Everything is up for grabs - in other words, spoilers for the whole series and some bookverse "facts."

Author's Notes: So these are my twenty ficlits written for the big-bang challenge in the theme of "Mother Confessors." To be noted, I have used original characters in many of these stories. In addition, I have drawn from the bookverse for some source material such as names and basic histories. Though I have done both, all these stories are meant to take place in the world of the series. I have tried to be clear in the author's notes on each entry to place the story within the proper context. *grin*

One finally note story-wise, I have tried to place the stories in a rough chronological order, so the first story would be the "oldest" and the last story would be the most "recent" (historically speaking *grin*)

And many, many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] muses_mistress for reading these over for me and being a generous beta reader. *grin*

Let the games begin *grin*:

Disclaimer: Legend of the Seeker/Sword of Truth is owned by Terry Goodkind and all the grand high mucky mucks of ABC. No copyright infringement is intended and no money was made from this of course. Any similarity to any other story not my own is coincidence.

Title: Love Letter
Genre: Legend of the Seeker; OC
Rating: G
Timeline: None specific
Author's Notes: So, I wrote this little ficlit for the [livejournal.com profile] legendland challenge before the newest comments and I learned that it was meant to be a letter from the viewer to the character. And honestly, that's just a touch... uncomfortable for me. *wry grin* So anyhoo, while I can't submit this for the challenge, I am kind of amused by how it turned out, so I thought that I would post it here.

Oh, and the spelling/grammer errors are intention... (ie beautyful instead of beautiful) Because the author is meant to be no more than 10.

Anyhoo... a love letter to Kahlan )

Cute Kahlan and Richard
Because, why yes, I am just this much of a dork... *grin*

Richard and Kahlan:

They're not exactly the best, but the epic!hair on Kahlan is pretty close. I don't much like her sleeves though. And as for Richard, I'm not real sure about the beard, but the outfit is pretty close. *shrug* I was just being silly anyway. I should have put a tree behind Kahlan too though.
